Interview With The Hundred Days

The Hundred Days On Relationships

We recently caught up with The Hundred Days at a special photo shoot for Picked By Guys and their upcoming new album. The Hundred Days have developed and very strong following and are on their way to being the next Killers, Bloc Party, or Bravery. We sat down with them and got their candid take on relationships one rainy Sunday afternoon.

PBG| Give us some crazy negative experiences you have had with women?

Jimmy| One summer I came back from college and my mother set me up with a friend’s daughter. I met up the daughter and her shady friend for drinks and ended up going on a date with the shady friend. She took me to a club that was owned by her ex-boyfriend. Apparently she brought me there to make him jealous. The guy ended up getting really fired up and breaking a bottle over the bar, it was pretty crazy. Turns out I ended up getting used, but I still slept with her at the end of the night. I couldn’t let him think he actually got to me, got me nervous or something.

PBG| What are some tips or things that you wish women would do more of in relationships to help the success of relationships?

Jimmy| A huge turn off is when women or anyone for that matter, talk too much shit about other people for no reason. I guess a tip would be to try and be more positive about what other people are trying to do, just be entertained by the spectacle of what some other girl is wearing etc. instead of being so negative about it.

Jon| Women should go to guys or guy friends for advice. Girls seem to always go back to their girlfriends for advice without giving them the full spectrum of what happened, which ends up coloring the advice.

Collin| I agree with Jimmy. We are always just checking people out or seeing people on the surface area, so don’t be threatened by what people are showing on the surface.

PBG| Marcus you’ve been really animated during the whole shoot, now your quiet, is everything ok?

Marcus| Yeah I’m cool. I just need some booze.

PBG| We agree, where is the bartender?

PBG| Admittedly guys screw things up all time. What are some of the things that you or other guys you know have done to blow things in a relationship?

Marcus| A lot of guys assume that just because a girl says hello or shows any interest in them, they want to Fuck’em, which is just not the case.

PBG| One of our monthly featured articles at PBG is Celebrity Self-Help. What are some celebrity relationships you tend admire or hate?

Jimmy| There is so much focus in the media on negative relationships, that it is hard to think of positive ones.

Marcus| I don’t like that Peet Wence and Ashley whatever her name is. I don’t really know anything about it, but it seems like it’s just for publicity.

Jimmy| I don’t know about that they seem pretty into each other.

PBG| You have a problem with Fall Out Boy Marcus?

Marcus| No no. Are you trying to start a fight?

PBG| Name a female recording artist that you really admire.

Marcus| Bjork

Jon| Allison Goldfrapp

Jimmy| Fiona Apple

Collin| I’m with Marcus; Bjork

  2. I like the comment about women talking to much dirt about each other. Although we all tend to be critical (men included)…there is critical and then there is just mean!
